About The Ethical Design Collective

The Ethical Design Collective is an international network of freelance technical and creative professionals working collaboratively towards the following goals:

• Continued education and development for both collective members and the wider public.
  
  
• Philanthropy towards our fellow beings, and care of our planet and the flora and fauna it supports.
  
  
• Unpaid collaboration in pursuit of creative and ideological expression both on-line and off.
  
  
• Ongoing development and support of ethical and creative ventures

Join Ethical Design

The collective is always keen to expand its membership. You should be prepared to offer reduced prices, or some free work in your spare time to charities, creative ventures and businesses that support them. You should also be ready to partake in unpaid collaborative creative projects within the collective.

We are particularly interested in people who can help with professional level skills in:

Copy Writing / Legal Services / Music Production / Language Translation / Project & Client Management / Illustration and Animation / PHP scripting / CGI scripting / Integration of MySQL & Oracle databases on the Unix & Linux platforms / 3D modeling, rendering and animation.

Member Benefits

As well as getting involved with the collective's charity projects, you will be considered for participation in our paid contracts on a project by project basis (based upon your skills and availability).

You will be given the opportunity to partake in the collective's own creative projects and while many will be unpaid (financial profits are not the main motivation in such projects), we will offer profit sharing on projects that involve financial gain.

We will also grant you access to the Ethical Design Collective's web forums and on-line collaboration and time management features where you can communicate and work with other members on ongoing projects, share inspiration, ideas and information or just chat.

Note that successful registration is subject to a group vote and we reserve the right to refuse applications.
