While many online designers are content to draw their inspiration
from the work of others, mirroring popular trends, reformulating
and repackaging existing ideas into new forms and claiming them
as their own innovations, we feel that this is a stagnant and limiting
formula.
We have a passion and interest in life itself, and draw inspiration
from a diverse range of sources including:
- Architecture
- Geometry and mathematics
- Optical illusions
- Classical art history and techniques
- Contemporary art
- Graphic design and typographic theory
- The Internet
- The wider media (newspapers, television, alternative media)
- Film and theater
- Classical and contemporary literature
- Philosophy and psychology
- Creating and listening to music
- Urban, suburban and alternative culture
- Science and technology
- Our own personal interactions and discussions.
Our goal as designers is to grow, to explore new territory and
to experiment with new ideas. We recognise that design, ideas and
inspiration surround us constantly in many forms, and are not limited
to the two dimensional space viewed through a web browser.
