FLYER DESIGN : URBAN BEATZ SUITE
We donated this flyer design and poster design to the SAFAD
(Silsoe Aid For Appropriate Development) charity to promote
their Urban Beatz Suite event. All proceeds from the event
go to SAFAD.
Due to last minute changes in the organisation of the event,
the flyer and poster designs were created at quite short notice,
enabling the promoters to supply the finished flyer design
for printing in time for distribution. For this reason we
utilised a stock illustration as a starting point for the
design, rather than our usual method of prototyping a range
of bespoke design options from scratch.

FLYER DESIGN
The flyer design features a funky cartoon robot DJ emphasising
the fun nature of the event and the electronic aspect of the
music, set against a fiery background off-set with more organic
earthy colouring to indicate the passion of SAFAD and the
environmental nature of their organisation.

Feedback
SAFAD were very happy with our work. Below is an extract
from the emails we received from them during the flyer project
(reproduced with permission):
"I'd just like to say, on behalf of SAFAD, that we are
extremely grateful for the exceptionally high quality design
work you've done for the organisation. The preliminary flyer
and poster look fantastic and will certainly turn a few heads."
- Alexander Beckett , Entertainments Officer , Cranfield University
