S. A. Fred |
|
| Genre |
Drum & Bass / Trip Hop |
|
| Info |
S.A. Fred, AKA Peter Baldwin: "I've been producing
electronic music since 1987. My first bits of kit were cheap
Casio keyboards, a phaser and a tape deck. Since then, not much
has changed, apart from a few more synths and a computer.I purchased
my first "real" synth in 1989, a Casio CZ1000, and when I realised
I could create my own unique sounds with it, my excitement spurred
me into a continuous effort to express my ideas in sound and
music.I haven't followed any particular musical style, however,
I have followed with great interest the various developments
in dance music since 1987. |

Electronic - Big Beats |

| Info |
Formed by Mike and Rob in late 1997 after the
breakup of their electronic influenced industrial/rock band.
Originally, the new band was to create instrumental music with
different guest singers on selected tracks, but after hearing
Kaoru's vocals over a few early tracks, the band decided to
stick with her as the main singer and "Electrostatic" was born.
Electrostatic have 3 DAM CD releases for MP3.com and can be
found on several compilations like: 103 of the best songs you've
never heard vol.1, The MP3.com Groove Lounge, B.P.MP3 Electronic
v.1.1, MP3.com 50 Chart Toppers, and Variable 02... |

Highlight of the Albums : Dissolution |
|

|
| Artist |
Ozric Tentacles |
|
| Album |
Pungent Effulgent & Erpland |
|
| Genre |
Trippy funky jazzy space age hippy sort of rock
stuff..bit hard to classify really. |
|
| Info |
Its hard to believe that these albums are so old now. They're
a couple of my favourite records of all time though and even
after all these years I'm still not sick of them.
Both albums are well worth a listen, but my particular favourite
is the first track on Pungent Effulgent - called dissolution.
