Overview

Riding High Rocking Horses design and craft a selection of high quality carved wooden rocking horses and children's toys.

We were approached by Riding High to produce a new web site and print advertising materials in the run up to their Christmas promotion.

Ethical Policy

We helped Riding High to investigate ethical issues surrounding their rocking horse and children's toy designs, influencing their wood and materials purchasing policy, addressing environmental and sustainability issues.

3D virtual model

An interactive 3D presentation was created for one of their most popular rocking horse toys, allowing users to zoom and rotate the picture to display the rocking horse from any angle.

This feature has proved very popular with their audience, giving them a clear picture of the rocking horse in a way that isn't possible with a two dimensional photograph.

Further presentations are planned, to eventually cover their whole range of rocking horses and children's toys.

Web Site Promotion

Special attention was paid to the sites structure and wording to make it search engine friendly.

We helped Riding High Rocking Horses to develop an online promotions strategy for search engine inclusion, boosting link popularity, and achieving more or less immediate returns from pay per click sources.

Regular log file analysis and reporting tools are being used to monitor progress and track the effectiveness of each campaign.

Technology

Due to the very tight deadlines required to meet their Christmas promotional drive, the riding high rocking horses web site was rapidly prototyped, the finalised design translated into a structured web site utilising cascading style sheets and server side includes to make future maintenance easier.

The site features a little ASP (Active Server Page) code to handle the dynamic aspects of the sites presentation and the ordering and contact process.
